The Fedora Chronicles Radio Show · Special Guest Jim Penniston - “The Rendlesham Enigma”

Posted by Eric Renderking Fisk | September 7th, 2020

Jim Penniston is one of the biggest names in the UFOlogist Community because of his involvement in 'The Rendlesham Incident' - also known as “England’s Roswell” and one of the most researched events of its kind. This specific event occurred late December of 1980 - an actual “Close Encounter” with a craft or artifact of unknown origin that landed in the forest outside the RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk, England. This landing and encounter as witnessed by many highly credible professionals in law and enforcement and the military including the base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt, the local police, the radar operators at RAF Bentwaters and nearby Wattisham airfield.

Jim Penniston was the actual man who encountered the artifact in the forest that night, and the rest of the story is detailed in his book. “The Rendlesham Enigma – Part One, Timeline” chronicles his experience in the military, his encounter with an artifact of unknown origin, and how this experience changed his life forever.

Jim and Eric Fisk not only talk about what happened Rendlesham Forest and how the artifact affected him, but also we discuss some of the other signings and encounters and the people he believes is telling the truth about what happened to him, and finally the latest disclosures from The United States' Pentagon.

From Amazon:

The Rendlesham Forest Incident of December 1980, is considered by far the most significant event in UFO history. It was also a unique military-related event, having taken place in Rendlesham Forest just outside the twin bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk, England – both of which had been transferred to the United States Air Force in 1951 by the British MOD (Ministry of Defence), becoming one of the largest and most important NATO complexes in Europe during the Cold War. The account given in this book is that of James W. Penniston, a Staff Sergeant at the time of the incident, who was the primary witness who led the investigation in the beginning and had ‘Top-Secret clearance’ – one of only eight people with Top-Secret clearance working Security at the twin bases. His credibility and honesty were highly respected throughout his years in the USAF. Jim Penniston has teamed-up with author Gary Osborn to present the definitive account of the Rendlesham Incident and the aftermath of events, just as he witnessed and experienced them from the incident itself, which began during the early morning hours of Boxing Day, December 26, 1980 up to April 2014.

From the Author

Trying to conclude the definative book on Rendlesham is really trying to understand the Rendlesham Enigma? There is no doubt on how far I have journeyed and came to this pinnacle with this encounter. I have got here through the help of many friends. A journey for the answers or just to have all I experienced become more clear. These people did not start out as friends, but rather other extraordinary people. Of course they didn't begin like that! They were only people who I knew and through-out the years, became extraordinary to me!

People such as Colonel Charles Heubusch, who was given to me as a lifeline through this traumatic event. The Colonel did become from friend many years later. And the former Base Commander at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge. Colonel Charles I. Halt. Who kept in contact with me during the rest of my career after Rendlesham. And then working and looking for answers through-out our Air Force Retirements.

The writing of my first co-authored book and now this final book on Rendlesham. There were many who helped me and become dear friends.

Like SSgt Monroe Nevils, who was the Disaster Prepardness NCO who verified the landing night for Colonel Conrad. He has help write his endeavour with his orders of that verification of the first night contact and landing. I now call him a dear friend.

Since the first night of contact on that December night in 1980. Two questions were immediate to me. Who are they? And where do they come from?

Today! After years of research and the discoveries by my co-author. It is clearly apparent those two questions are no longer valid. The two questions that remains today. Are more when? And why?
