Jason Cousineau and Eric Renderking Fisk | November 11th, 2020

On this Paranormal / Metaphysical Connection Edition of The Fedora Chronicles Radio Show, Jason Cousineau and Eric Fisk start the show with a letter from one of the other paranormal groups we follow on social media: Paranormal Hauntings.

We also revisit our encounters with an unexplained phenomenon such as shadow people and dark apparitions. Revisiting "The Mothman Prophecies" and discussing "The Bray Road Beast" documentary from "Small Town Monsters," based in part on the book by Linda S. Godfrey.

From Paranormal Hauntings by Dana Luke: "Has anyone else just had this nagging sense that something bad is going to happen lately? I've just had this feeling in the pit of my stomach like something is telling me to prepare myself for something bad. I'm not sure if it's something personal in my own life or if its bigger than that. I kind of just wanna see if anyone else has been experiencing this feeling, it seems to be getting stronger by the day and I'm actually getting kind of scared. Anyone else feel this way or am I just starting to lose my mind?? Signed, Anxious."

The Bray Road Beast

Small Town Monsters: THE BRAY ROAD BEAST DVD

In the early 1990's a rural Wisconsin community called Elkhorn was at the center of a series of real-life werewolf sightings. As local reporter, Linda Godfrey, began her investigations into the "Beast of Bray Road", other reports from around the country, and soon, the world, began flooding in. For the subsequent three decades, the Beast of Bray Road has been the most infamous Wisconsin resident.

In their seventh film (and third feature-length documentary), Small Town Monsters takes you on an in-depth exploration of the "dogman" phenomenon. From the eerie back roads of Wisconsin, the the fields and villages of Europe, sightings of upright canids go back centuries. But is there more to these sightings than simply misidentifications of known animals or a hidden species of wolf?

Prepare for the ultimate journey into the dark side of Cryptozoology, as The Bray Road Beast uncovers a secret history to the subject that touches on everything from the occult to ancient wolf-like beings with hidden knowledge.

Amazon Prime: The Bray Road Beast

Amazon: "The Beast of Bray Road: Tailing Wisconsin’s Werewolf," by Linda S. Godfrey | October 2, 2015

The original account of the 1992 bombshell news story that revealed reports of werewolf-like creatures in southeast Wisconsin. The small town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin made national headlines in the early 1990s with reports of a strange, hairy, wolf-headed creature that walked upright and seemed unafraid of man as it stalked the cornfields just outside of town. Journalist Linda Godfrey dubbed the canid sensation “The Beast of Bray Road” after the location of the first reported sightings. Two decades and hundreds of nationwide sightings of similar creatures later, no one has ever proven whether the beast is a flesh-and-blood canine or will-o-the-wisp, demon dog, or a magical werewolf. But the author provides plenty to chew on, with sightings of related creatures, Native American connections, historic lore and a keen-eyed look at possible explanations. Once fully digested, this book just may induce readers everywhere to keep a more careful eye out as they travel lonely country roads after dark.
