Around The World With Craig Whitton

Prague

Prague is one of my favorite places on this trip. Not because of Prague itself (which was still awesome, don't get me wrong--a gorgeous city!) but because of the people I met there. It was definitely a highlight. And everything there is so cheap! A full steak dinner with Wine and dessert was only about 15 bucks! Wonderful city.

This crowd had me confused. They were all standing staring at some old clock. I saw this on my first day there. Then, I found out that the clock was the famous Astronomical Clock! Wooo! Big deal, right?

See, I didn't see why there were that many people, till I found out that not only does the clock do a nifty Cuckoo display every hour, but it also keeps track of the stars and moon, as well as keeps near perfect time, and it's nearly 700 years old! I have to admit, when I found that out, I was rather impressed.

On my way to Prague Castle with the gorgeous city in the background.

Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb fans should recognize this courtyard as part of some inspiration for the game.

Shooting a crossbow in Prague Castle--It's a lot harder then you'd think!

If you ask me, there is NOTHING better looking then a gorgeous girl in a Fedora. This is Sarah, from the south of France, a super nice gal who I hope to keep in touch with.

Ah, the Green Fairy--Absinth. It is perfectly legal in Eastern Europe, but not so in Canada and the USA. it's made of a Wormwood derivative, contains about 70% alcohol, and tastes horrible, but it makes you see things. Trust me on that one. At least I can say I did it--but never again!

After an amazing few days in Prague, it was off to Rome. Bella Roma!
