"This
first picture was taken on the steps of Bag End, the home of Frodo
and Bilbo Baggins in the movie. Note that the hobbit hole is scaled for
a hobbit, and the external finishings have been stripped off. This is
because they were originally made from polystyrene, aka styrofoam. They
painted it to look like brick. Most of the large sets used in the
trilogy were made from polystyrene, including Helm's Deep and much of
Minas Tirith." |

"This
second picture is just a gag shot. While I was in Sydney, my mom
really wanted to see a kangaroo or wallaby closeup, so we paid a visit
to the Tauranga Zoo. There were these 2 big gorilla statues, and
reminiscing on a funny picture I took with a giant plush Kipling ape, I
thought it might be funny to take a picture with this one, as well. I
found it fitting, because nearby in Wellington, NZ, Peter Jackson is
finishing up his next film, King Kong." |

"This
next picture is just a shot of me and my dad on the cable car down
from Tauranga Zoo. I just thought it was nice shot the fed, and an Indy
and dad moment." |

And of
course, no trip to Sydney is complete without a visit to the famous
Opera House...
