Harold Bissonette a local shopkeeper inherits a fortune when his Uncle Bean dies. He insists on spending the money on an orange grove in California.

Shapeless movie which exists just for some wonderful routines from one of the all-time great comedians, W.C. Fields. Most of the material is hilarious, the highlight is an unforgettable but un-PC routine involving a blind man who almost reduces Fields' store to ruins.

Trivia - The Golden Age of Hollywood

According to legend this was the movie in which Fields spiked his young co-star Baby  Leroy's orange juice with gin.
