Two musicians witness the St. Valentine's Day massacre and to escape the gangsters join an all-girl band.

Delightful fast-moving comedy which is definitely Marilyn Monroe's best film expertly showcasing her talent for comedy and music. Curtis is fine also and very funny doing a thinly veiled Cary Grant impersonation (Billy Wilder always wanted to work with Grant). Jack Lemmon though almost steals the show with a hyperactive performance.

Trivia - The Golden Age of Hollywood

Wilder originally wanted Frank Sinatra in Lemmon's part and Mitzi Gaynor in Monroes.
