Tony Hunter makes a broadway comeback in a Jeffrey Cordova show with ballerina Gabrielle Girard. The show turns out to be flop but the company stays together.

Superb musical with high production values ; it sums up the putting on a show genre and playfully parodies life behind the scenes on a Broadway show. Astaire is at his graceful best  in the dances including such unforgettable routines as A Shine on Your Shoes and Dancing In The Dark.
