New Beginnings
Commentary by Eric Renderking Fisk -

Partisan ship doesn’t work. That much is for sure.
We’re entering a time in our nation’s and state’s
history where the future is more uncertain than ever before. We’re all
hearing news about job loss and record unemployment, the soaring debt
where the states like California are borrowing 40 Million dollars a day
to pay for benefits and the nations President goes on a multi-million
dollar junket to demand that another nation cripples its growing economy
so we can remain to appear to rein superior…
… And he comes back empty handed and crest fallen.
What did he expect?
We have a nation movement that’s powered by
frustrated and disenfranchised citizens who began to openly criticize
George W. Bush et al for TARP-1 and the Automakers, and are now labeled
by the media as bigots and racists because the movement moves forward
while the first African American is in office running up the same debt
and continuing to perpetuate the same domestic and foreign policies he
swore against in his campaign.
People like us (I hope all of us, anyway,) want
accountability in our leaders in local, state and federal offices. Those
who are appointed and elected deserve our thanks and praise when they
get it right, and our criticism and rebukes when they get it wrong.
Either way, they need to be watched and scrutinized.
What I plan on doing here on this webpage, with
your help, is to do just that; keep an eye on them. I can’t watch the
entire region all by myself which is why I’m encouraging everyone to
send me your articles, press releases, statements, rants… anything to
