Lotus 7   Colin Chapman introduced the Lotus 7 in 1957. In 1971 Colin Chapman ( Lotus ) sold the rights to Caterham cars ( the main distributor ) to produce and sell the Lotus 7. In 1973 they renamed it the Caterham 7.
