Stan and Ollie want to go to the Chicago convention of the fraternal organisation the Sons of the Desert. Ollie's wife though won't let him go so he pretends to be ill and says Stan will go with him to Honolulu for his health, instead they go to the convention. Unfortunately the liner returning people from Honolulu flounders in a typhoon, another fine mess is clearly in sight.

The best of the Laurel and Hardy features from the peak of their career it works well in the extended form unlike some of the features which tend to be a bit disjointed or have musical interludes without the Boys as in their operetta films. Special praise must be extended to Charley Chase who gives a delightful performance as an obnoxious convention goer.
