Something like the guy in the middle lately, but with a winterized fur face. I just haven't had the opportunity to take photos lately. So this'll have to substitute until then.

Not a bad looking cap. I had a similar one that I picked up while stationed in Germany. It was loden green and the flaps were secured in front with two pewter buttons. I wore it a lot until one day when it was paired with a leather flight jacket a friend told me,"You look like an extra from The Flying Tigers". At first I though "Cool" but then I realized I was not keeping the requisite low profile and I retired it. :(

Thanks, SOG and Blackthorn.

SOG, this shot was all luck - with these cellphone self portraits, I consider it a job well done if I'm actually in the frame, let alone interesting light features

Me an my Stormy Kromer today. Probably the only thing I'll wear resembling a ball cap.

SOG, that reminds me of pictures of when my Pop was a kid. Thanks for sharing those memories.

Cheers!

Thank you for the Penman comments, gentlemen.

SOG, I love the shot of your first fedora - that is just so cool. You were a stylish guy even then!

Since I wore my first, hmm - about this time last year - I'd say you have a bit of a start on me.
Cheers!

Most of you have seen Blackthorns new posting of his trip to Ethiopia , if you haven't please do so it will give you a new perspective on how some people in 3rd world countries actually live.......

Anyway he mentioned the fact that Raoul had some friends meet him there. Raoul couldn't make it because he was busy in "East Asia" studying "The mysterious power to cloud men's minds, so they could not see him." Exactly like Lamont Cranston "The Shadow"....

After returning to the states he stopped by to demonstrate to me his new powers ... I have been practicing constantly ever since... I now have managed to be able to duplicate this power but only for seconds at a time......

Here I am as I appear normally in my VS Chocolate, and then as Raoul has taught me, The Shadow !

Raoul loves the "Shadow" routine. It works well in counter-sniper duties, surveillance, and the ladies locker room. :)

Great looking hat, very rich color. It is almost but not quite as good looking as your first fedora.

Wow, that's amazing, SOG!!! That's one reason I hold Raoul in such high esteem...he is just so far beyond me in his esoteric techniques.
