I just read Baz's post about Road House. I also love that movie. And last night I saw Boiling Point, with Wesley Snipes and Dennis Hopper, and was once again blown away by how good that movie is and why it's not more popular.
While Boiling Point and Road House are what I'd almost consider perfect movies, most film critics and even fans would disagree with me, but in my book they are unappreciated jewels.
Another in that category is Southern Comfort, with Keith Carradine and Powers Boothe. To me that's a masterpiece of characterization and action and suspense.
