Bow Ties

Ok, here's a question for you geeks out there.. Is the latest Dr. Who's ties a self tie or a clip on? I would LIKE to believe the Doctor would have a REAL bow tie.. but I think the actor wears a clip on.

Unfortunately, it appears to be a clip-on. Way too symetrical to be hand-tied.

And here are the ones that just arrived.
This one is a thinner variety of silk and a tad larger and holds a bow shape with a little stiffer inner lining.

This blue one is much softer and really feels like silk. Really soft, this one is a more casual tie. Of course I think that this one will go nicely with the black homburg that I had won recently on ebay as well.

Dig on the colors of both and can't wait for any occasion to wear them. Can't wait for the new burgundy one to show up now.:D

Of course it's too symmetrical. Our bow ties would be symmetrical too if we had a costumer following us around. Then again, yeah, it is most likely a clip on.
But he still makes it look cool.

This burgundy one just came in today. So far my favorite color wise. Fabric wise I think the blue one is right up there. This one could go well with tweed and a fez. :wink:

I think I'll have one more in a brown with red geometric pattern if I win it this afternoon. And then I think that will be it for a little while. At least until I spy another gotta have.;) It'll give me some great variety anyway.

And the latest acquisition. It was advertised as brown with geometric pattern, but it is more of a plumb color with a geometric pattern. Either way it looks good and I'm happy with it.
