You should! My hat is always my stand-in when no one is around to get a shot of me. For me, it's turned into an ongoing series, always a great conversation starter.

Good pictures, Charlie! How about a couple hundred more? More, more, more! What a fun place to cruise, eh?

Excellent, Charlie! You saw a lot that I didn't see, and that's always cool. I'm up for more, if you don't mind posting more!

All these great shots make me wonder how much of our architecture and art will survive a thousand plus years? Will future tourists be looking at Mt Rushmore and remembering how they were leaders of a great society? Will the White House or the Jefferson Memorial still be standing, even if in ruins?

All of you are VERY lucky So and so's! ;-) I've got plenty of leave for a vacation but anything taken over 7 days must be applied for 6 months in advance.. My wife has plenty but due to her work she doesn't KNOW whether she could take a vacation with more than a 1 month notice.. the result is we haven't taken a vacation (more than a couple of days) for YEARS!

I feel for you David. Its one thing to see these great trips and wish you could afford it and its quite another to see them and realize even if you could, it'd be almost impossible to plan.

My wife an I decided along time ago not to spend our money collecting things, but memories.

I hope you get to go somewhere you're dreaming of as soon as you can!
