Torchwood: Children Of Earth.

I think it deserves it's own thread.

Been watching Torchwood as well. I hear that they are going to bring it back soon starting with Jack and Eve, called Torchwood: The New World, and it is supposed to show on Starz not BBC. I'm not sure how well that is going to work out. Unfortunately I don't have Starz anymore so I suppose I'll be missing out on this version.

Those who saw Torchwood: Children of Earth know that when last we saw Captain Jack Harkness, he was in an incredibly dark place. As far as dealing with that, Davies said, "We acknowledge that and we deal with it in a way that will both satisfy old fans and new viewers."

Cheers!

Just watched the third episode. Very good! This is the reason I usually stay away from television series...I get hooked!

So, as it stands, I watch 30 Rock, No Ordinary Family, The Walking Dead and Ninja Warrior (on G4) when I can catch it. Other than those, the only other TV I really watch is whatever catches my attention on History, Discovery, Military or PBS channels.

Just watched the last episode of the season. If you like well written, well acted character-driven stories, The Walking Dead is a MUST WATCH!

As of late it has been 'Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.' I'm really starting to like the guy. He tells it like it is, because most of the places he rescues form failure have been total train wrecks. It's a miracle that he gets any results at all from these people.

Cheers!

What do I watch . . . hmmmm . . .

When I was living on my own, with only very basic cable, it was pretty much locked on Discovery Channel, which meant Mythbusters, Survivorman, Deadliest Catch, Plant Earth, etc.

Since moving in with my fiancee, I now watch some of her programs such as Two and Half Men, Glee and a couple of others, maybe that are so forgetable that I forgot them.

Our 'locked on' fallback channel is now HGTV. We watch a lot of House Hunters, and Holmes on Homes.

And then theres Boardwalk Empire. Watched every one. Couldnt wait for Sunday nights for only that reason (work the next day =oP ).

I've been watching Jamie Oliver cook things up for the holidays on the Cooking Channel. The shows are called Jamie cooks Christmas & Jamie's Family Christmas. Some wonderful ideas for the future. I hope that these recipes will show up in his cook books.

Cheers!

They have had several Christmas specials from the past on BBC America. Watched Keeping up Appearances and Absolutely Fabulous. Will be recording the Blackadder Christmas Special shortly for later viewing of the family.

Cheers!

Did you watch the Catherine Tate Christmas Special also? A really nice change of pace for fans of hers when she was Donna Noble on DOCTOR WHO.

Yes I did! :D Rater funny and unusual at the same time. My favorite skit was when they were picking the roles for the Christmas play and her character (a fantastic makeup job as a man) was chosen to play they Christmas fairy because of his improvisational skills and he thought it was because folks there thought he was gay. Crazy fun!
I like her better in these comedic skits than as Donna Noble. She always seemed an odd fit for Doctor Who.

Cheers!

Lately I've been netflixing Lie To Me. Its a decent show. Nothing I'm ga-ga over but its good fun. I prefer Psych.
