Good point, Dan. I'll try to get some pics up later today.

This hat is so dark, it's almost impossible to photograph accurately. It's a deep, deep brown. So if I get too close, the flash makes it look much lighter. If I back off, which I did, it is so dark that it soaks up all the light in the pic.

It's not a "dress hat." It's too low crowned for conventional taste, and I never just wear it around town. I wear my Art Fawcett, my Nostalgia or my Fed IV around town. But this hat fills a need...it is better looking than a baseball cap, and small (as fedoras go) to make traveling on a plane, bus or taxi easier than a full sized fedora would be. It's perfect for "chasing the wind."

So...here goes:

and here's the bow that Olivia tied on the ribbon she did for me:

Nice! Has more of a trilby feel to it. That indeed would work nicely for travel. Bet it looks pretty snazzy on the noggin too. Thank you for sharing.

Cheers!

Good point, Dan, it's a trilby! Thanks for the kind words. Here's a pic of me wearing it in Agleria back in March:

And in Paris a few days earlier (note the Eiffel Tower just in the background):

There we go! That hat suits you great. Especially the Paris shot. Looks like you're ready for some spy games.

Cheers!

Great idea, Doug. I can't imagine why I didn't think of that.
