I bet it will work... after one or two poachers get removed from the gene pool they may find not too many willing to kill a tiger for money any more....
Some days it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.

Exactly. Now if we could apply this to child molestors and rapists...

I agree with SOG. In my humble opinion the only reason to ever engage in anything that could be called poaching is in times of immediate survival situations. I don't think that a tiger would fit into the definition of survival game.

Is there any truth to the myth that dead pirates were hung for all to see outside the ports of prominant shipping cities?

The idea of the death penalty is to deter...future crime. Not to absolve past ones. We've lost our way.
We have top men working on it....right now.
