Does that help the unemployment number right now? Probably not. But it could go a long way in getting the country back on track.
As long as career politicians are allowed to continue indefinitely; nothing will change.
I made a comment about this phenomenon in another tread; it seems to me that the only reason why we send senators and congressmen to Washington is to get more of that almighty federal dollar. Congressmen don't even care about their states, only their districts.
I have to question the mentality of an entire state when they elect the same man to the same senate seat his entire adult life. Was Massachusetts better off because of Ted Kennedy?
