ENO Hammocks

Postby RetroRebel » Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:57 pm

Hello there!

I wasn't sure where to put this, so if it's in the wrong table, feel free to move it. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if anybody here has an ENO (short for Eagle's Nest Outfitters) hammock? If you do, what do you think of it?

As for me I have a DoubleNest hammock, in navy and olive. I can't express how handy and comfortable it is. It weighs a little less than three pounds and compresses into a bag about the size of a large grapefruit. It's suitable for backpacking as well as base camping. As for the straps, they're called SlapStraps and they're very easy to put up.

The only real drawback is that at $64 for the hammock,$20 for the straps, and S&H, it can get rather expensive. But you know, I think it's worth it. They're quite durable and will last me for goodness knows how long.

In short, I like 'em!

So, anybody else have one?

Thanks,
RetroRebel

I don't have one of the ENO jobs. I have one of the old GI jungle hammocks but I have to say the ENOs look pretty good. I'm glad to see that you can get a bug net for it.

Hammocks are a great survival/camping sleeping system. They are extremely versatile and light weight.

As for me I possess a DoubleNest hammock, in navy and olive. I can't state how handy and comforted it is. It weighs a immature less than terzetto pounds and compresses into a bag almost the size of a astronomical grapefruit. It's suitable for backpacking as comfortably as descriptor camping. As for the straps, they're titled SlapStraps and they're rattling uncomplicated to put up.
