I had this notion last night while getting cleaned up after working outside and building a raised garden bed for my wife that if I knew one weekend in the future would be my last I would want to go on one last hike through the woods on an abandoned roadbed. I would allow my kids to wear anything they wanted just so long as it wouldn't impede them on the trail. Maybe for once I would let them make as much noise as possible.

Would I tell them that this was the last weekend on Earth? Would it make things worse or better for them? I think I would only tell them if they were ruining things for each other or other people because of their behavior.

Well, if it was the last weekend on earth and I had some preparation, I would really enjoy a lot of the foods I see on tv that I never get to have, along with the expensive brandy and other hooch that commands a high price. I think I'd have that beer and wine and scotch that was found in the arctic and at the bottom of the ocean and crack them open for all to enjoy. Since I quit smoking about 15 years back, I think I'd purchase a weekends worth of some superior pipe tobacco and enjoy my old pipes once again. I would just plain relax.
It does make one wonder what kind of show the folks up in the space station in orbit would get?

Cheers!

I think I was in the Bathroom when the world "ended."

And so was everyone else on the planet

:)But seriously, what would I do... hmmmm....
No kids for me, nor husband, nor boyfriend,
I'd want to spend it sipping my meme's hot cocoa with my family around me, everyone just glowing with love and happiness :)

Well, I suppose that's one way.

I think I'll go out the way I got here, screaming and crying like a baby. :)
